Meditation Instructions for Sun., Sept. 28, 2008

For this coming Sunday (and the following week) our focus will be on the quality of Discernment. Please ask that the voting public be granted with a keener sense of discernment to see through the rhetoric and distortions of political messages and better recognize where the kernels of truth are present.

A few minutes before 12:15 you may want to get into your meditation posture and begin the relaxation phase.

Stage 1:
Sit (or lay down) so that you are relaxed and comfortable but your spine is straight and aligned over your pelvis (if seated).
Begin by taking several slow, deep breaths.
Follow the sensation of the breath down into your body.
Breathe into your spine, your hips, and then your legs.
Feel the breath reach your feet on the floor and then feel the connection through your feet to the earth’s energy.
Draw the earth’s energy up through your feet into your body.
Feel your body fill completely with this energy from your breath and the earth.
Invite your own personal spiritual guides to join you in the meditation.
Ask for those in the spiritual realm who want to assist us in this project to be present.
If you have trouble feeling centered and fully in your body or feeling grounded to the earth ask Guidance to help you.

Stage 2:
Stay relaxed and begin to make a connection with the others in the group by perceiving that we are present in the same room and formed in a circle.
Feel yourself make contact with the person on each side of you in the circle by taking their hand – one to the right and one to the left. Feel the energy of the group grow as you make this connection.
Recognize there are groups all over who are doing similar activities with the same intention. We are connected to them as well as to each other.
Feel the grid or network that is created from this energetic connection. We receive energy from it as we feed energy to it.

Stage 3:
Place a brilliant white light over the entire country.
Extend blue rays out from the center of that light in the four directions (north, south, east, and west).
The blue rays fill the country from border to border and sea to sea.
Connect to the energetic grid or network created across the circle. Use that grid to direct energy to the manitou of the nation [See Meditation Instructions for Sun., Sept. 7, 2008 for explanation] with the intent of enhancing its quality of Discernment.
The way to do this is to perceive in your body what Discernment feels like. How does your body feel when you are able to accurately discern truth from untruth? Hold that feeling and allow it to intensify as you feed that energy to the grid or network with each breath.

Stage 4:
Close by disconnecting from the group circle.
Feel as though you release the hand of the person next to you and feel yourself break from the group.

Stage 5:
Thank your guidance and those in the spiritual realm for coming to assist you in this endeavor. Ask them to continue this work from their plane on your behalf throughout the week.

If you are able, you may want to repeat this process throughout the week, focusing on bringing light and energy to the meditation topic. When you do, connect to the same network or grid of energy created by the group at the original meditation session. Direct your intention to help support and grow that group energy. Be sure to disconnect from the group at the end.

Remember to report your experiences (if you choose) by e-mail, blog comment, or leave a short voice-mail message at my home office number (see General Instructions dated Thurs., Aug. 21, 2008 for more detail).

Meditation Instructions for Sun., Sept. 7, 2008

A number of people who contacted me this past week spoke of feeling pulled toward New Orleans during their Sunday meditation time. I do believe its “intrusion” into our meditation focus was purposeful. That part of the country needed our assistance, and I feel that our efforts were connected to many other groups praying and meditating for the region’s protection. Hurricane Gustav was threatening the region but thankfully downgraded in intensity before landfall. Perhaps our efforts helped that outcome.

For me, the lesson reinforces the sense of “surrender” that became present during my meditation times. Despite our mental desire to focus on St. Paul (or any other conscious intent during these meditation periods), we must realize it is not up to us to decide what direction things should take. Instead, we are simply contributing our energy to help manifest here on earth the desires of the spiritual realm. Dion Fortune writes, “Bring through spiritual force and leave it to that force to work its own way.”

There are also reports of feeling a grid or network of energy that extends across the group circle. A dear friend and mentor sent me an image she had on her computer – it beautifully captures this experience, and I’ve added it to the bottom of the blog (scroll down all the way to see it). It represents the “etheric matrix.” The energy healers in the group are familiar with this structure as an energetic template or blueprint for the body’s cells during development.

One of my teachers, Rosalyn Bruyere, speaks of a different energetic structure known as the “manitou.” This represents the collective energy of a group or organization and is created from the energy of those who make up the group. It reflects their beliefs, values, and goals in forming the group. Just as groups or organizations have a manitou, so does a nation. One of the objectives of this meditation project is to help our nation return to its core values – the integrity and ethics represented by its founders. I believe this grid or network we perceive may be the manitou of the nation and affords us an opportunity to help heal this country just as an energy healer taps into the etheric matrix to heal a physical body.

For this coming Sunday (and week) our focus then will be to help heal our nation by restoring its spirit of Integrity.

Please follow the same five stages as before. Be sure to invite your own spiritual guides and those spiritual forces who want to assist us in this effort to be present.

In Stage 3 you are to create the brilliant white light in the center of the group’s circle and place it over the entire country. Extend blue rays out from the center of that light in the four directions (north, south, east, and west). The blue rays fill the country from border to border and sea to sea. Connect to the energetic grid or network created across the circle. Use that grid to direct energy to the manatu of the nation with the intent of restoring its spirit of Integrity.

At the conclusion of each session be sure to disconnect by dropping the hands of those next to you in the circle. Always thank your guidance and those in the spiritual realm for coming to assist you in this endeavor, and ask them to continue this work from their plane on your behalf throughout the week.
