Meditation Instructions for Sun., Dec. 28, 2008

For this coming Sunday, December 28th the focus for our meditation will be on Hope. The new year soon awaits us with so much potential. What will help our country achieve its dreams is to increase the feeling of hope in its residents. President-elect Barack Obama spoke of the importance of hope in a speech on the eve of the New Hampshire Democratic primary: "We have been told we cannot do this by a chorus of cynics. They will only grow louder and more dissonant in the weeks to come. We've been asked to pause for a reality check; we've been warned against offering the people of this nation false hope. But in the unlikely story that is America, there has never been anything false about hope." Truly, with hope all things are possible for this great nation.

Please follow the same practice as before: Get centered, ask to bring in your guides and others who are there to assist us, connect to the circle of others participating in this project, create the brilliant star-like light over the nation and extend blue rays to its four borders, then connect to the grid or template that extends from the circle. Ask yourself how does my body feel when I am full of Hope and then send the energy and intention of that feeling to the grid for the nation. Be sure to disconnect from the circle at the end and express thanks for those who have helped us in this effort.

Meditation Instructions for Sun., Dec. 21, 2008

For this coming Sunday, December 21st the focus for our meditation will be on Gratitude. There is a particular Rosary meditation I'm fond of (I'm a lapsed Catholic) that sets for the Mystery of Christ's birth a contemplation on "greater detachment from the things of the world." How appropriate for an event that seems to have all too readily morphed into an emphasis on materialism. In the difficult economic times we are currently experiencing this can introduce even more unneeded stress for people. To help improve the health of our nation we're going to try and reduce the stress that tends to wear people down by bringing an increased sense of Gratitude for what we already possess. We have so much to be thankful for as a nation simply by the freedoms we enjoy through birthright. It is a simple gift, yet one you quickly come to appreciate when you travel to other parts of the world where this is not the case.

Please follow the same practice as before: Get centered, ask to bring in your guides and others who are there to assist us, connect to the circle of others participating in this project, create the brilliant star-like light over the nation and extend blue rays to its four borders, then connect to the grid or template that extends from the circle. Ask yourself what does Gratitude feel like in my body and then send the energy and intention of that feeling to the grid for the nation. Be sure to disconnect from the circle at the end and express thanks for those who have helped us in this effort.

Meditation Instructions for Sun., Dec. 14, 2008

For this coming Sunday, December 14th the focus for our meditation will be on Stability. Although change can certainly be a good thing, it may seem lately that our nation is going through too many drastic changes at once. The housing crisis, the financial crisis, rising unemployment and many other issues are contributing to people feeling more unsettled than before. President-Elect Barack Obama campaigned on a theme of "change," and while much change is definitely needed to bring the nation back into right order, it will be challenging for the nation to adapt to more change without a sense that it will eventually restore stability. For this Sunday's meditation focus we want to help our nation acquire the confidence that underneath all the change there remains a fundamental Stability. If they can recognize this strong foundation the changes that overlay it will seem less stressful. We are, in essence, helping our nation to become more "grounded" so it may better adapt to the changes that are needed.

Please follow the same practice as before: Get centered, ask to bring in your guides and others who are there to assist us, connect to the circle, create the brilliant star-like light over the nation and extend blue rays to its four borders, then connect to the grid or template that extends from the circle. Ask yourself what does it feel like in my body when there is stability around me and then send that energy and intention of Stability to the grid for the nation. Be sure to disconnect from the circle at the end and express thanks for those who have helped us in this effort.

Meditation Instructions for Sun., Dec. 7, 2008

For this coming Sunday, December 7th the focus for our meditation will be on Commitment and Loyalty. In a recent television interview President-Elect Barack Obama stated (and I'm paraphrasing) that at the end of the day he wasn't perfect and would make mistakes, but he hoped the American people would always feel he was doing his best to serve their interests. His statement of imperfection seemed genuine and sincere, and it made me realize how quickly as a nation we will shift or withdraw our loyalty at the first blush of a perceived flaw. Even as individuals it can be difficult for many of us to truly forgive the mistakes of others. In this coming week's meditation I would like to ask that we focus on bringing a stronger sense of Commitment and Loyalty to the American people so they continue to place their energy in support of the President through the next four-plus years. There will be low times ahead when the new administration may be struggling to be effective or may make unpopular decisions. The country will need to remain supportive throughout the entire term for it is truly the only way we can sustain the nation and eventually progress.

Please follow the same practice as before: Get centered, ask to bring in your guides and others who are there to assist us, connect to the circle, create the brilliant star-like light over the nation and extend blue rays to its four borders, then connect to the grid or template that extends from the circle and send the energy and intention of Commitment and Loyalty to it.

Be sure to disconnect from the circle at the end and express thanks for those who have helped us in this effort.
