Meditation Instructions for Sun., Nov. 30, 2008

Back in early October we emphasized the need for Wisdom in our weekly meditation focus. I'd like to return to that theme now with the intention of assisting the President-elect in seeking Wise Counsel. The circle of advisors to the President will be instrumental in his ability to meet the challenges before this nation. These individuals will require wisdom and a depth of understanding of extremely complex issues, balance in their viewpoints, honesty and fairness in expressing what may be opposing opinions, and the ability to obtain the nation's trust in supporting their recommendations. This coming Sunday, November 30th, may we join together to ask those spiritual forces aiding us in this endeavor to bring Wisdom to this circle of advisors.

As a reminder, we typically form as a group in our focused meditation every Sunday from 12:15 to 12:30 pm (Eastern time) and return to bring more energy to the same theme throughout the week as time permits. If you are unable to participate at that particular time there are instructions posted on how to energetically contribute at either an earlier or later time (please see "Instructions for Meditating at Alternate Dates or Times" posted on August 21, 2008).

I'll also repeat the detailed instructions periodically on how we join as a group. It's been some time since they have been posted, so I'll repeat them here now as a refresher:

A few minutes before 12:15 you may want to get into your meditation posture and begin the relaxation phase.

Stage 1:
Sit (or lay down) so that you are relaxed and comfortable but your spine is straight and aligned over your pelvis (if seated).
Begin by taking several slow, deep breaths.
Follow the sensation of the breath down into your body.
Breathe into your spine, your hips, and then your legs.
Feel the breath reach your feet on the floor and then feel the connection through your feet to the earth’s energy.
Draw the earth’s energy up through your feet into your body.
Feel your body fill completely with this energy from your breath and the earth.
Invite your own personal spiritual guides to join you in the meditation.
Ask for those in the spiritual realm (especially the nation's Founding Fathers) who want to assist us in this project to be present.
If you have trouble feeling centered and fully in your body or feeling grounded to the earth ask Guidance to help you.

Stage 2:
Stay relaxed and begin to make a connection with the others in the group by perceiving that we are present in the same room and formed in a circle.
Feel yourself make contact with the person on each side of you in the circle by taking their hand – one to the right and one to the left. Feel the energy of the group grow as you make this connection.
Recognize there are groups all over who are doing similar activities with the same intention. We are connected to them as well as to each other.
Feel the grid or network that is created from this energetic connection. We receive energy from it as we feed energy to it.

Stage 3:
Place a brilliant white light over the center of the country.
Extend blue rays out from the center of that light in the four directions (north, south, east, and west).
The blue rays fill the country from border to border and sea to sea.
Connect to the energetic grid or network created across the circle. Use that grid to direct energy to the manitou of the nation [See Meditation Instructions for Sun., Sept. 7, 2008 for explanation] with the intent of successfully seeking Wise Counsel for our new administration.
The way to do this is to perceive in your body what Wisdom or having access to Wise Counsel feels like. How does the quality of Wisdom feel in your body? Hold that feeling and allow it to intensify as you feed that energy to the grid or network with each breath.

Stage 4:
Close by disconnecting from the group circle.
Feel as though you release the hand of the person next to you and feel yourself break from the group.

Stage 5:
Thank your guidance and those in the spiritual realm for coming to assist you in this endeavor. Ask them to continue this work from their plane on your behalf throughout the week.

If you are able, you may want to repeat this process throughout the week, focusing on bringing light and energy to the meditation topic. When you do, connect to the same network or grid of energy created by the group at the original meditation session. Direct your intention to help support and grow that group energy. Be sure to disconnect from the group at the end.

Remember to report your experiences (if you choose) by e-mail, blog comment, or leave a short voice-mail message at my home office number (see General Instructions dated Thurs., Aug. 21, 2008 for more detail).

Meditation Instructions for Sun., Nov. 23, 2008

For this coming Sunday, November 23rd the focus for our meditation will be on Hope. Lately it seems that the media only wants to talk about the latest crisis, financial or otherwise, and to perpetuate in the nation's consciousness a "doom and gloom" mentality. We can counterbalance this negative tendency by working to infuse a sense of optimism and hope in our populace. Yes, our new administration will have significant challenges before them, but if the nation comes together and puts their energy into believing our newly elected officials can effect improvements they have a much better chance of doing so.

Please follow the same practice as before: Get centered, ask to bring in your guides and others who are there to assist us, connect to the circle, create the brilliant star-like light over the nation and extend blue rays to its four borders, then connect to the grid or template that extends from the circle and send the energy and intention of Hope to it.

Be sure to disconnect from the circle at the end and express thanks for those who have helped us in this effort.

If you have feedback or experiences you would like to share please let me know (see previous blog posts for further details).

Meditation Instructions for Sun., Nov. 16, 2008

The focus for this Sunday's meditation is to ask for Acceptance. For those citizens whose candidate was not selected we want to assist them in reaching a position of fairness and neutrality in how they direct their energy for our new President. They may never be converted to become effusive proponents, but at a minimum we want to reduce or eliminate the negativity and bitterness they may feel. No matter where you stood on this election I'm sure everyone can recall a time when their choice was not selected. Remember how that felt and try to appreciate in our most recent election that for 46% of voters, or over 58 million people, their candidate was not chosen. We can use our prayer and meditation efforts to help begin to heal any discord from this result. One of the most critical forces that will enable our newly-elected President and other officials to effectively carry out their duties is to have the collective energy of the nation supporting them. We can help to "move that needle" more into the neutral or even positive zone through our efforts.

Please follow the same practice as before: Get centered, ask to bring in your guides and others who are there to assist us, connect to the circle, create the brilliant star-like light over the nation and extend blue rays to its four borders, then connect to the grid or template that extends from the circle and send the energy and intention of Acceptance to it.

Be sure to disconnect from the circle at the end and express thanks for those who have helped us in this effort.

If you have feedback or experiences you would like to share please let me know (see previous blog posts for further details).

Meditation Project, Phase II

My deepest thanks to everyone for all you have done to contribute to the success of this project focused on the election process! There certainly was no question about the outcome being clear and without controversy. Yes, there were still occasional instances of dirty campaign tricks along the way, but the final result showed the ability to rise above that.

Now we enter into the second phase of this project with the intention of assisting our elected officials to meet the challenges before them. There is much this nation needs to do, and we can continue to offer assistance by serving as vehicles for the spiritual forces that govern our nation to effect their desires here on earth. Several times during meditation in the first phase of this project I perceived images of our serving as tent pegs or grounding rods planted in the earth that helped to anchor the energetic influences at work on our behalf. I don't fully understand why such a partnership is needed, but it is clear we are being called to serve as intermediaries with those who want to help, and our efforts are a necessary part of putting that into realization.

In the second phase our focus will move to bringing the qualities necessary for our government officials and the populace to help this country move forward and heal. We all know there are tremendous hurdles ahead, but I retain a firm optimism that we can help to ease the path for our nation through our prayers and meditation.

As we move ahead I welcome your input on the issues you believe we need to address, and as always, I would love to receive any feedback regarding your meditation experiences. The reported convergence of perceptions and input received by participants helps to further validate and direct our efforts. If you would like to submit suggestions for our meditation or provide feedback, please feel free to e-mail me at k_miritello@bellsouth.net or kmiritello@gmail.com (I've discontinued use of the excite.com address).
