For this coming Sunday, December 21st the focus for our meditation will be on Gratitude. There is a particular Rosary meditation I'm fond of (I'm a lapsed Catholic) that sets for the Mystery of Christ's birth a contemplation on "greater detachment from the things of the world." How appropriate for an event that seems to have all too readily morphed into an emphasis on materialism. In the difficult economic times we are currently experiencing this can introduce even more unneeded stress for people. To help improve the health of our nation we're going to try and reduce the stress that tends to wear people down by bringing an increased sense of Gratitude for what we already possess. We have so much to be thankful for as a nation simply by the freedoms we enjoy through birthright. It is a simple gift, yet one you quickly come to appreciate when you travel to other parts of the world where this is not the case.
Please follow the same practice as before: Get centered, ask to bring in your guides and others who are there to assist us, connect to the circle of others participating in this project, create the brilliant star-like light over the nation and extend blue rays to its four borders, then connect to the grid or template that extends from the circle. Ask yourself what does Gratitude feel like in my body and then send the energy and intention of that feeling to the grid for the nation. Be sure to disconnect from the circle at the end and express thanks for those who have helped us in this effort.
If you have feedback or experiences you would like to share please let me know (see previous blog posts for further details).
