For this Sunday, May 9th, the focus for our meditation will be on Acceptance. We focused on Acceptance back in November 2008 following the national election but this time we want to bring the focus to Acceptance in our own life. We all occasionally suffer setbacks and disappointment. Fortunately, most of the time these work out to eventually become minor annoyances. Sometimes, however, we experience significant crises, such as serious health issues, trauma, the loss of a partner or parent, etc. While these become definitely more of a trial in our life we still want to be able to move on from these events. To do so first requires Acceptance of what has happened. Rather than blame others or cling to the crisis as a means of identifying ourselves we want to learn how to move ahead and not be held back by the event. We want to ultimately shift our response so we can acknowledge with serenity what has happened but now prepare to let go and make forward progress once again. By learning Acceptance we can avoid feeling like victims and instead gain a victory over the events that shape our life.
Please follow the same practice as before: Get centered in your body, ask to bring in your guides and others who are there to assist us, connect to the circle of others participating in this project, create the brilliant star-like light over the nation and extend blue rays to its four borders, then connect to the grid or matrix that extends from the circle.
Ask yourself how does it feel in my body when I have Acceptance for whatever life presents to me? What does it feel like when I am able to reach Acceptance for even the challenging events in my life? Then send the energy and intention of that feeling to the grid for the nation.
Be sure to disconnect from the circle at the end and express thanks for those who have helped us in this effort.
