For this Sunday, July 25th, the focus for our meditation will be on Vision. A popular modern activity born from Native American practices is to go on a "Vision Quest." This is a process one follows to strengthen the connection to Spirit and to help identify one's purpose in life. All too often we seem to operate instead on a form of "automatic pilot" in which we slog our way through our never-ending list of items to be done. We get so focused on the minutiae of our everyday life that sometimes we lose sight of our greater purpose for being here. In having a Vision one acknowledges the natural correspondences that exist between this world and the spiritual planes. Our Vision should help us recognize the course to follow in order to achieve the higher good that is our true potential in life. This week we want to examine whether we hold a Vision that helps reconnect us to Spirit. Additionally, we want to ask that this nation consider its Vision for the future and what is needed to stay on the right path to achieving our country's true potential.
Please follow the same practice as before: Get centered in your body, ask to bring in your guides and others who are there to assist us, connect to the circle of others participating in this project, and create the brilliant star-like light over the nation. Extend blue rays from the center of this light to the nation's four borders and then connect to the grid or matrix that extends from the circle.
Ask yourself how does it feel in my body when I am aware I have a Vision of my greater purpose in life? How does it feel when I recognize my connection to Spirit through a Vision of my true potential. Then send the energy and intention of that feeling to the grid for the nation.
Be sure to disconnect from the circle at the end and express thanks for those who have helped us in this effort.
