For this Sunday, January 17th, the focus for our meditation will be on Assertiveness. Being Assertive with integrity comes from a place where we are sure in what we know and most importantly are grounded in our knowing. When we are ungrounded in our knowing we come across as aggressive or pushy. Instead, if validity and integrity are underpinning our position we can hold fast to it without worry that it may run contrary to what others think. How do we become grounded in our knowing? By learning discernment and refining our ability to sense whether what we are thinking is supported with energy that feels connected to something other than ourselves. Does what we believe or think feel grounded in the earth? When we are certain about our knowing we can "stand our ground" and express what we are thinking in a more effective manner. Speaking with Assertiveness then means speaking from a place of truth that others need to hear.
Please follow the same practice as before: Get centered in your body, ask to bring in your guides and others who are there to assist us, connect to the circle of others participating in this project, create the brilliant star-like light over the nation and extend blue rays to its four borders, then connect to the grid or matrix that extends from the circle.
Ask yourself how does it feel in my body when I am being Assertive with integrity? What does it feel like when my knowing is grounded and I can speak with honest Assertiveness? Then send the energy and intention of that feeling to the grid for the nation.
Be sure to disconnect from the circle at the end and express thanks for those who have helped us in this effort.
