For this Sunday, January 31st, the focus for our meditation will be on Passion. Passion is a key aspect of our vitality. When we are Passionate about something it often moves us in a different direction from where we are and drives us to take action. With the winter Olympics about to begin in two weeks there will be many opportunities to see Passion as athletes from all across the globe meet to try and perform at their very best on a world platform. Given the dedication and sacrifice required for these athletes to accomplish what they do Passion for their sport must be at the core of what motivates them. As we prepare to watch these young people strive to excel we want to also examine where we feel Passion in our own lives. What pushes us to improve the way we perform as conscientious human beings? Additionally, we want to examine how our own country is perceived in terms of its Passions. Rather than being seen as a nation consumed with Passion over celebrities and professional athletes we want to be recognized as having Passion for such issues as human rights, decency, and peaceful diplomacy.
Please follow the same practice as before: Get centered in your body, ask to bring in your guides and others who are there to assist us, connect to the circle of others participating in this project, create the brilliant star-like light over the nation and extend blue rays to its four borders, then connect to the grid or matrix that extends from the circle.
Ask yourself how does it feel in my body when I am Passionate about something? What does it feel like when I am experiencing Passion? Then send the energy and intention of that feeling to the grid for the nation.
Be sure to disconnect from the circle at the end and express thanks for those who have helped us in this effort.
