For this Sunday, January 31st, the focus for our meditation will be on Awareness. Our capability for introspection, to pause and search internally to find what brings the greatest meaning in our lives, is fundamental to knowing what is truly important. Despite being social beings everyone needs time for self-reflection, meditation, and the process of an inner examination that helps us become more Aware of what is most significant in our lives. As we realize that we are here on earth as part of a greater spiritual journey one of our tasks is to acquire the Awareness needed to hear what is spoken in one's soul. Hearing that voice is more challenging when we are swept up in the external business of making a living, going about our daily routines, etc. It requires one to pause momentarily, seek inwardly, and exercise patience in waiting for that voice to be heard. When we take time to become Aware we attain the enlightenment required to better understand the purpose of our spiritual journey. As we consider this concept of Awareness this week we also want to examine what serves to distract us from being more Aware. What is in our lives that may interfere with our desire for greater Awareness?
Please follow the same practice as before: Get centered in your body, ask to bring in your guides and others who are there to assist us, connect to the circle of others participating in this project, create the brilliant star-like light over the nation and extend blue rays to its four borders, then connect to the grid or matrix that extends from the circle.
Ask yourself how does it feel in my body when I am being introspective and Aware internally? What does it feel like when I am experiencing total Awareness? Then send the energy and intention of that feeling to the grid for the nation.
Be sure to disconnect from the circle at the end and express thanks for those who have helped us in this effort.
