For this Sunday, June 27th, the focus for our meditation will be on Perspective. There is a psychological concept known as "reframing" in which one takes a situation or context and tries to see it in a different, often more positive, "frame." A simple example would be when someone cuts you off in traffic. Rather than becoming angry and instantly tagging the other person as rude and inconsiderate, you try to reinterpret the situation and raise the possibility there was an emergency and they were rushing to get to a hospital. This allows someone to adopt a new Perspective on a situation and can be instrumental in maintaining a healthy emotional as well as physical state of being. In our meditation this week we want to examine whether there are aspects to our life that could benefit by being seen from a different Perspective. Is there a situation with work, friends, family, our financial state, etc., that may seem perpetually stuck as a contributing source of negativity in our life? If so, take this opportunity to try and reframe this situation into an alternative that is more positive. Try to gain a new Perspective on things and see what a difference it can make.
Please follow the same practice as before: Get centered in your body, ask to bring in your guides and others who are there to assist us, connect to the circle of others participating in this project, and create the brilliant star-like light over the nation. Extend blue rays from the center of this light to the nation's four borders and then connect to the grid or matrix that extends from the circle.
Ask yourself how does it feel in my body when I am seeing things with a fresh Perspective? How does it feel when I am able to adopt a different view that brings a more positive Perspective? Then send the energy and intention of that feeling to the grid for the nation.
Be sure to disconnect from the circle at the end and express thanks for those who have helped us in this effort.
