Meditation Instructions for Sun., Feb. 13, 2011

For this Sunday, February 13th, the focus for our meditation will be on Wonderment. When we take time to recognize the amazing Wonders all around us in nature it provides us with a sense of appreciation for a spiritual or divine presence that is greater than us. While for some that might promote a feeling of insignificance for me it does the opposite. In seeing the greatness around us I instead come to the realization that we are all indeed a part of that. It deepens our connection to nature, to Spirit, and to each other by being more aware of how magnificent the world around us truly is. Unfortunately in our hectic lives we seldom find time to pause and feel a sense of Wonderment for our surroundings. This week in our meditation let us take a moment to recognize our connection to the greatness that surrounds us and experience Wonderment that we each contribute to that in some way.

Please follow the same practice as before: Get centered in your body, ask to bring in your guides and others who are there to assist us, connect to the circle of others participating in this project, and create the brilliant star-like light over the nation. Extend blue rays from the center of this light to the nation's four borders and then connect to the grid or matrix that extends from the circle.

Ask yourself how does it feel in my body when I have a sense of Wonderment for the greatness that surrounds me in the world? What does it feel like when I take a moment to experience Wonderment by showing awe and respect for what exists in nature? Then send the energy and intention of that feeling to the grid for the nation.

Be sure to disconnect from the circle at the end and express thanks for those who have helped us in this effort.
